WHERE THE SUN IS SCORCHING, BUT THE ENERGY IS EVEN HOTTER
Miami feels different. Where the rest of Florida feels distinctly Southern, Miami feels like a different world, part Cuba, part French Riviera, and yes, part American South. There’s nowhere like it, and Miami celebrates being different. The city itself feels like a celebration - pastel buildings, vintage cars, raucous night life. Nothing there is subtle, and nothing there is meant to be.
Whether in South Beach, Little Havana, Coconut Grove, or Wynwood, every neighborhood tells a different story, but they all share the same pulse. That pulse? Heat and glamour. Fantasy. Intensity. Miami is built for wandering - constantly changing, but always unforgettable.
WHAT TO DO
Miami Watersports or Boatsetter Charters. Enjoy the ocean, the ever-present lifeforce of the city.
Snorkel or paddle the clear shallows at Virginia Key Beach Park, which feels like escaping without ever leaving the city.
Citi Bike Miami. Citi Bike isn’t just for New York. Brave the heat with a slow ride through palm-lined streets. Replace traffic noise with the sound of water and chirping birds, and enjoy a quieter, slower adventure than Miami is typically famous for.
The Bass Museum or Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), Take in a little art and culture while in town, and explore Miami’s contemporary art scene. For a more art-focused trip, visit Miami during Art Basel, Dec 4-6 2026.
Coffee. Wake up with a hard-earned cafecito in Little Havana. Locals know that the best coffees are found in ventanitas (coffee windows) rather than fancy cafes. Take your cafecito to go, and stroll around Little Havana, enjoying the sounds of the city, shuffling dominoes and lively conversation.
Cocktails. If there’s one thing Miami knows, it’s a good cocktail. We like Over Under for a more casual experience and Champagne Bar for something more upscale, but really, it’s hard to go wrong wherever you land. Looking for something hands on? There are dozens of mixology classes to take, but we like this one, that’s close to the action in South Beach.
Restaurants. There are hundreds of dining opportunities in Miami. While you’re there, enjoy cuisines you can’t get elsewhere, particularly Miami’s Cuban restaurants and Haitian cuisine.
Live music. You can find Cuban flair pretty much anywhere you turn, but keep an eye out for pop up DJ sets. Miami is a hot bed for EDM, notably the Ultra festival, returning to the city in March of 2027.
Stay out until the early hours of the morning, E11even. LIV. Mayami. Miami rivals and even surpasses Vegas nightlife. Not into the club scene? Watch the sun set on a nice patio bar or a yacht.
Shopping. Look no further than Miami. For luxury, check out the Design District (with the likes of Hermes and Louis Vuitton, this is where you need to be for a treat). Looking for more of a farmer’s market feel? Coconut Grove has got you covered.
What to Wear
Step into Miami’s world of geometry, heat, and spectacle—the Mayday Bikini is designed for a city that treats the body like architecture and style like intention. Rooted in Art Deco balance and proportion, Mayday is confident, sculptural, and quietly commanding.
The tie-front top frames the chest with a soft knot detail that feels feminine without excess—an echo of Miami’s curved Deco lines set against clean structure. Wide straps provide balance and support, creating a silhouette that feels composed rather than delicate. The effect is effortless, sun-forward, and undeniably polished.
The high-waisted bottom anchors the look with clean lines and a smooth, elongated leg. Cut to sit high on the hip, it references Miami’s vertical rhythm—palms, façades, bodies in motion—while maintaining a classic, architectural fit. The back is minimal and sculpted, designed to flatter without distraction.
Crafted from ECOVERA, a microplastic-free fabric, the Mayday Bikini is double-layered, buttery-soft, and seamless against the skin. It’s UV-protected, quick-drying, chlorine-resistant, and fade-proof—made to hold its shape under relentless sun, salt, and heat.
Whether you’re walking Collins Avenue after a swim, slipping into the water between plans, or staying out long after golden hour, Mayday doesn’t chase attention—it holds it. Designed for Miami days that stretch into nights, this is swimwear with structure, restraint, and history built into every line.
